EAA CORP MCP35 FEATURES
Made with serious respect to John Browning Classic design, The MCP35 pays homage to one of the most widely used military handgun designs in the World. Built on a steel frame and slide, the MCP35 boasts a 15+1 capacity in a staggered column magazine. Built on a steel frame and slide. Originally designed as a military pistol, it necessitated extreme accuracy and the Girsan MC P35 does not disappoint. The short recoil 9mm, 4 5/8 barrel, along with the slide, allow for quick second shot resets, getting the shooter on target faster. The rear sight is a windage drift adjustable sight and the front is a dovetail sight. Do you want to larp as Axel Foley with his two cop buddies fighting crime in Beverly Hills? This is your pistol.
I have fired 106 rounds so far (7 reloads plus 1, another mag would be awsome!) and had only two failures to feed, had to push the slide in twice to complete the loading, so its still breaking in.
I am happy with my purchase but this is a one for one copy of the Browning Hi Power Mark III that has certain issues that may make it not for you.
This pistol comes with slick target grips that don't really help you hang on to it, grips can be replaced. The sights a wierd, a front ramp with two odd cut square "dots" in the rear sight, sights can be replaced. By the way these are a direct copy of what Browning put on the Mark III back in the day. They still work fine, you just have to get used to them. At 10 yards the 106 rounds went high left into the 8 ring, all in a group about the size of a small apple. They work.
The wart that may make this pistol a no from you is it still retains the magazine disconnect. It gives it a distinct "crunchy" trigger pull. The disconnect is a plate that hits the magazine and slides/grinds up the mag as the trigger bar goes into position and releases the hammer.
Now heres the real bad part. At slide lock you have to claw the magazine out, it is not drop free! If you dont carry a spare mag this may not concern you, but most people do.
Can you remove it ? Of course, its quite easy. But, theres always a but. On the importer website (EAA) it clearly states any modificaitions of safties void the lifetime warranty. I don't consider the disconnect a safety but being smarter than the average bear I contacted EAA to confirm.
This is a direct quote from their email:
Removing the magazine safety will void any and all warranties.
Best regards,
EAA

If you see me at the range i'm the dude wearing a Mumford hoodie.
Pistol very well machined and finished, better than I expected. Money spent with no remorse. A lot of fun at the range.
Gunprime even added my preferred FFL
Great price, great service & great product. Will definitely be a return customer!
Very happy with my purchase.
The P-35 is the same high quality as the Girshan 10mm I bought a few years ago.
My son and I shot it yesterday, along with my P-35 Browning Practical Model. There were no problems, and the accuracy was comparable and pleasant to fire.
Unfortunately, I only had the range for an hour. In the next couple of weeks, I'll have more time.
I don't like that there is only one magazine and extras are $40-60.
The product represents everything admirable of a Browning Hi-Power, only affordable for me.Great quality and finished well.
Considering the cost of a new high power from FN ($1500 I think) and this being a clone it was still a great deal. $386 which is well below the $550 of most clones. It was just too cheap to let pass by. But I still haven’t fired it so other than it being a beautiful paperweight, I cannot review it.
